Building Blocks

We have a friend on Facebook (or...my wife does) who...on Saturdays...usually makes this statement. I can't wait until tomorrow (Sunday) to get my God on. Get your God On? Is she serious? I get her point, but I just think it sounds kind of IGNERT ignorant.

But...now to my situation. After a few days of not seeing my grandson...I need to get my Merrick on...I needed a Merrick fix. When my daughter wanted to meet my other daughter for lunch...I agreed to watch the little man.

I wanted to watch the tennis from the Australian Open...although with the time difference...I already knew who won. Merrick wanted to watch Go Diego Go! In today's episode...Merrick and Diego and I visited a rain forest. The only Spanish words I heard today were Ola and Gracias. Helloooo, and thank you!!

We drove a remote controlled truck, TRIED to build things with the blocks that are pictured, and raced around the kitchen island. And...one of us spent some time standing on our head. (Made me light-headed just watching.)

It was a good fix. Hope everybody has a great weekend.
