Woke up to a frosty morning so I went out for a look and took a few photos. Afterwards there was a beam of light coming through the window in the front door and lighting up the flowers that Marian received for Mother's day. I went back for the camera but the intensity had reduced a little. It still made a lovely shot though.

I've returned to the habit of making soup for lunch and I'm using what vegetables we have. We had some lovely leek and potato earlier in the week and today's batch is broccoli. Enough for three days. We have some lovely olive bread that we got from the village shop. The difference with this olive bread is that you can really taste olives.
