Homestead

I've had my eye on this for sometime and fortunately it's not far away. A fine bit of dereliction in a primo posie amongst rich pasture with an impressive mountain backdrop. There are even shreds of curtains in the windows.
Day one of lockdown. It's very quiet though a few cars are still around. We have been round the block twice but are lusting after the sea. Esme has just walked home from the recreation ground (empty), a good kilometre! She ate fishcakes, roared through her bath then crashed into bed! We won't be far behind though himself is making a chickpeas curry and flatbreads. Mmm.
In other news, all but a tiny amount of air new zealand flights are grounded until at least June!!! And our visitor Visa has been extended until the end if September. Looks like we're not going anywhere soon.
