Wot, they're in charge???

Grandies' care duties went remarkably well and we had a riot - Maisie Mouse on the farm was a huge hit, as was stacking things, dancing a lot of singing (amazing how you remember those nursery rhymes), a trip round the block to admire the pigs and some paddling pool madness.the best activity though was putting a lid on a carton and takingng it off again. On seeing the cat asleep, she took herself off to her cot. First attempt at a sleep did not work as I had sent her to bed with a dirty nappy. Plan B, clean nappy but unfortunately I had forgotten how to do this lark and got it on back to front,- she smiled tolerantly with a lot of patience. Success, I then put her in the cot the wrong way round - she tried to explain by showing me her duvet! Anyway, all good and a sleep was achieved. She is such a cheeky delight and her speech is really coming on.
Just had a large pizza and a glass of wine

Lockdown seriously kicks in now and it seems we may not be allowed to go to the beach, which seems tough as there is tons of space. I had a good swim today though.
