Game, Set, and Almost Match
We seemed to have spent the greater part of today watching the Andy Murray semi-final in the Australian Open. I had set the recorder for the BBC HD coverage starting at 8:30 this morning. So we watched in shifts, in between walking Dylan, going to the market, having coffee and making tea (spinach and ricotta cannelloni).
I'm not sure why I picked BBC rather than Eurosport, as we have a history of losing the end, most vital, parts of the tennis because the station managers, in their wisdom, decide to switch channel just when it's getting exciting. One day a recorder will be invented that is clever enough to switch recording to the new channel when they do that, but unfortunately Sky+ can't. So we saw the first four sets, and missed the deciding fifth - sigh!
Dylan wanted to join us on the sofa, so he perched at the end by the arm. As I haven't blipped him since December this is his official January portrait.
