bye-bye, birdie

Our get-away to California delivered all the mid-winter relief we were after. There were colorful flowers, gorgeous birds, walks along the beach, lots of milkshakes, and the absence of a busy schedule. 
Tomorrow we head home, and even there we will have a less than busy schedule. We are blessed.
