Years! 
Yes our 45th Wedding Anniversary - see archive - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/600136
Not what we planned today; should have been in a lovely Parador by the sea in Cadiz; not what our family planned; because of our cancelled trip daughter Grace, son Alex and SiL John booked us a three course meal and a b&b at Ashmount House in Haworth. Things have changed so quickly this week so though the booking wasn’t actually cancelled it didn’t seem quite right to go. We have postponed it.
So here we are having the Prosecco we won at our ATN party, can it only be two weeks ago!
It’s Mother’s Day too of course, don’t ever remember the two coming together before,  we joined in the service we received from church via our newsletter at 10.30 am.
A lovely but cool day we then strolled our to church so Chris could remove some of the superfluous notices from the notice board and then had a mosey (nosey) around the new housing development in the centre of the village. Surprised how many people have already moved in and you get a very different view of the village from up there.
When we got home a beautiful bunch of flowers had been delivered from G, J and Eda, more of those later. We had a lovely FaceTime this morning but I wish I could give them all a hug!
Spent the afternoon in the garden.
