Lawn!

The birds, no longer in my loft but still above it, appear to have their own lawn on the chimney-stack across the street. I'm sure it wasn't there last year.

Chatham is now so quiet that even though the pigeons are no longer resident only two feet above my pillow, I can still hear them cooing gently on the slates above their former loft.

I think the colony is slowly dissipating, Gerald is often to be seen on the ledge opposite, though rarely with Lisa. I think he must have been farting in her face to chase her away when I last photographed them. Isolating. Ahead of the game.

Today's achievements include finding a single 500g packet of rice at Sainsbury's and exchanging the DVD which had had the incorrect disc inserted into case of the film I had chosen.
