Wedding Day

With a mixture of emotions, we watched two weddings today which were live-streamed from our previous church in North London.

This couple were due to marry on 11th April but with a very real risk of it being impossible to marry by then, they decided to speed up things and hastily arranged to get married three weeks early.

This was the second wedding like this in the church today and yet another one tomorrow (Sunday).
Feeling so very sad for these three couples whose wedding days are so very different to that which they had planned. Very few guests in attendance and all sitting apart from each other. Receptions all on hold. Yet lovely that they have been able to tie their respective knots.

In other news, and without explaining a very long and complicated story, I was able to see all three of my girls albeit very briefly.
My arms ached to hug them but I couldn’t :(

Eldest and her hubby are now in their new home :)

I also had a delightful few minutes with windychickens.

....and got some loo roll in a petrol station!
