Birkenhead

Spent the night in Birkenhead before crossing the Mersey for a day in Liverpool at a day conference led by hubby.

I think this is the town hall situated in Hamilton Square, a beautiful Georgian square in the middle of Birkenhead. The architecture reminded us of Edinburgh's Charlotte Square and St Andrew's Square at either end of George Street. We didn't notice any other Georgian buildings there but nice to find this little bit.

Long but good day. Now safely back home :)
