Sunrise Canoeing

Day 3 of our Belize journey. We woke up early (which is quite a feat for someone who is on vacation and not a morning person) and paddled across the lagoon and up Dawson Creek. It was a birder's dream. Unfortunately for our guide, we are not birders and much of what he showed us was lost on us. But it was still a wonderful experience. Later we paddled back on our own (actually more than once) and added a croc and an iguana to our sightings.
