A dull and chilly day but we were determined to get out for a walk.
In order to justify our journey as essential, we drove to Dart's Farm to get some fresh fruit and veg. With pandemonium in the supermarkets we were pleasantly surprised by the calm attitude of the shoppers there.
Leaving the car in their carpark, we then walked into Topsham and back for a total of 4.5miles.
On brief occasions the sun tried to break through the gloom but the cold wind took the edge off any perceived warmth.
I was surprised to see a pair of black swans sailing up the river.
Dawlish, a little town further along the coast, is famous for their black swans so I can only assume that this pair have gone walkabout to find a suitable nesting spot.
