There once was an ugly duckling

Actually, depends on your view of the original Volkswagen Beetle. For me, a design icon and a car I would like to own one day (when I don't need a car that is reliable, fast, comfortable etc.).

Anyway, was walking through the office car park when I saw this old battered blue VW beetle. Grabbed my trusty compact and took a picture of it and moved on. Then came across a new shiny VW beetle and the idea of combining pictures of the two cars came into my head, so I took a snap of that as well.

Back at home and a quick DIY photoshop lesson courtsey of the internet and this is the result. I'm happy given the limitations of time.

When I have more time to spare, I will attempt this again but work on getting the two images better aligned. The fact that the old beetle is slightly left of center is playing havoc with my OCD.
