Stripes

Drat..if l’d put the cream on before the jam it could have been a repeating pattern :-))
Decided to bake a Victoria Sponge cake, brought a smile to Mr P’s face.
Probably needed a couple of minutes less in the oven.

We are in the vulnerable category for social isolation but l can’t go to the supermarket in the allotted time for the elderly , (hate being called that ! )  as l can’t leave Mr P and of course can’t let anyone into the house to sit with him while l go.
Our fabulous son in law asked me to send him my shopping list ( l wrote just what we needed, no stockpiling) and he went to two supermarkets and got everything except two items. Left it on the doorstep, just now, see extra, good lad.
Our next door neighbours also brought us milk and bread.
So fortunate to have good friends and family.
Unfortunately l have run out of ready cash in the house so l am writing down my debts.
Hope they don’t think l’m sponging off them :-)
