Dog violets

12 of us braved the Green Gym today.  We are out in the open and do not need to stand too close!  Hope we do not get banned from going out like this.  We did have a coffee and biscuits, but kept our gloves on!  I washed all the cups etc on my return home in very hot water and lots of soap.
These pale violets were forming a carpet on the ground, near where we were working.  Pity they have no scent.  We were 'hedge laying', which really meant weaving into a sparse hedge whatever we could find.
I had intended working in my garden on my return while I was still suitably dressed, but the rain came down and put a stop to that idea.
