I was working in Halifax again today and my lunchtime stroll again took me to the historic Piece Hall. I last captured the scene here on 15 January

Since then it snowed heavily and the snow has now been lying for four days.

The people of Calderdale are hardy folk. A couple of women were sat on a snowy bench having a picnic in sub-zero temperatures. They were there when I first arrived at 1:10 pm and still there when I left 50 minutes later.
