The Witching Hour in #Greetland

I was determined not to leave it until the last minute to get my blipfoto today so I waited until after midnight to venture out into the cold, snowy world in search of a photo.

This sycamore tree is, in daylight, a pretty regular shape. It was just the way the moonlight caught the branches that makes them look as though they are curling.

It's the same tree I photographed on 12 January 2013 but looking up from below against the moon and thin cloud.
