Funny ol day

Woke up feeling a bit flat, everybody seems a bit flat, understandably, even the light was flat.

We slept in, no reason to rush, just had a quick walk around to our local little Tesco Express for a newspaper, and a couple of other bits....... no loo rolls, don't need any, fortunately!!

Hub bought a sandwich deal, I had a jacket potato with leftover chicken saag curry with a corn on the cob.....a bit of a mixture, but really enjoyed it.

We drove to the canal mid afternoon for a short walk, people staying clear of each other but still smiling and saying hello.

I only took 4 images as the light wasn't good, the sun did try to put in an appearance. We ventured down into Pennington Flash for a while, still surprisingly muddy underfoot :-/
Todays blip is the view across the Flash from above, whilst standing on the canal towpath.

We headed back to the car just as the skies darkened, the rain started as we got back to the car luckily!

We've had lamb steak, sausage, cauliflower cheese, cabbage with onion & fennel, with sliced crispy oven cooked potatoes for dinner, really tasty.......followed by another night in front of the tv......slimming club classes suspended, as has the pub quiz. Might have to get a book out soon!!

I have a dilemma, do I go to see my sis tomorrow, or not :-/
