A useful service.
Our village chipshop has always kept up with the digital revolution. For some years it has had a webcam so you could see from your iPad whether there was a queue before you walked down there from home.
Now you can order and pay for your fish and chips online including saying whether you want salt and vinegar. In the evening opening when it is less busy they will deliver them to your doorstep and ring the bell. At lunchtime you can specify the exact time you want to collect and they will be there without having to queue.
In times of isolation or social distancing this will be very useful and the sales may make up for the likely decline in tourists.
