Ready for homeworking

Today I managed to write a rota,  talk to the team about the plans, and collect everything I'd need so that I could start home-working from tomorrow. It turned out that I had managed this just in time for the PM's new announcements.  It's going to be a strange time for everyone.

Some more information about yesterday's mandarin duck:  He was ringed as an adult male on 9th April 2015 at Bestumkilen near Akershus, Oslo.  Four days later he was re-sighted about 150 km SW of Oslo. Then he was re-sighted in Aberdeen on 6 September 2015. In 2016, a lot of research with the help of Facebook groups managed to discover that he has been traversing the North Sea every year, spending the winters in Aberdeen and the summers near Oslo, since approximately 2011.
