Sun on the feeder

Siskin and greenfinch eating sunflower hearts.  I tried putting the sunflower hearts in an ordinary seed feeder instead of the usual diamond mesh feeder, to see if less seed would be dropped on the ground, but it didn't work.  Once this is empty, I'll put the diamond feeder back, because it allows more birds to share the seed.
