Deserted

Murray refused to get up for his walk after  breakfast so I said I'd go to town early then.
There were shoppers at the market but not many post-weekend.  The refill stall wasn't accepting cash only contactless cards and the application of hand sanitizer between transactions.  Even The Big Issue vendor had been given a complementary bottle of hand sanitizer with his magazine pickup.
Sainsbury's had run out of loo rolls, hand sanitizer, tins of tomato and tinned pulses. 
Few university students about just a few mature adults shopping.
The street is usually busy at lunchtime on Mondays. A sign of current times.
