A lovely day for a walk
This morning the walking group went for a walk around the wet and muddy lanes from Ifton Heath. It was lovely to see sunshine, a perfect day for a walk. I'd done this walk before but had forgotten how many steep lanes and slopes were involved, a combination of the climbs plus the sunshine resulted in the removal of my coat - the first time this year.
It was lovely to see so many celandines, primroses and wood anemones, also my first sighting of butterbur.
This afternoon I helped F in his garden. He was pruning his apple tree and I did some of the labouring jobs. It makes things easier when we work together in the gardens. It looks as though there will be a lot of gardening done with the avoidence of social interaction over the coming weeks.
