A Monday Morning Mourning Dove

Dear Diary,

My most loyal birds this winter are my mourning doves.  They most often come to the back porch café in the morning and late afternoon.  My chipmunk is making sporadic visits as well.  I'm sure that will pick up as the weather warms.  The lack of "foot traffic" at the café reminds me of how cities and towns are closing all restaurants and bars because of the virus.  I haven't heard of mass closures around here yet but I don't plan on dining out in the near future.  I had a ticket for the movie premiere of "I am Patrick" tomorrow night but I'll give that a pass as well.  Life as we've known it is changing minute to minute.  Don't worry Molly, the back porch café is still open for customers!
