No place like home...
Day two of the BC Level 2 Mountain bike training course. Obviously, it was hard to know if my movement master plan (see yesterday’s blip) worked overnight but I was still walking, the main question was how easy it would be to ride.
We were back out on the trail by about 09:30 and thank goodness I could ride… I was quite cautious as my main goal was to get my coaching session done, I was third from last to present so had a bit of riding to do before I was able to present.
The session went well and all activities on the bike was completed in the morning… After lunch and then some more theory and then the course was complete…
I was pleased to have passed so another tick in the box on the roadmap I have planned for my coaching education, I think it all may pause now as I believe British Cycling are going to postpone further training courses due to the coronavirus. The only one I have book is a two-day course on the velodrome on the 2nd and 3rd of May…
I was very pleased when I arrived home and unpacked the gear from the car and settled down to watch one of my favorite TV programs “Race around the world”… I’ve been trying to coerce family and friends to apply with me for next year’s show…
More tomorrow.
