Tree.....mendous

Although we were quite late getting up once we were we nipped over to Dunham Massey for a walk in the fresh air.......nice to get away from all the "media hype" !

We walked around the gardens first to see how Spring is progressing.....of all the shots I took today, this magnificent tree peony flower won hands down......there isn't a single sign of life on the shrub as yet, other than these stunning flowers!

Later, headed over to the Stables around 1.30 for a sandwich & coffee, it was reasonably busy despite things.....afterwards a walk around the deer park for another hour or so, it was a lot less wet underfoot than a couple of weeks ago, but still a lot of standing water around. There were a few deer around, but not so many.....lve added a couple of extras, a crow for Helena and a piece of unusual artwork in a tree :-)

Made Jamie Oliver chicken traybake for dinner chopped red chilli, garlic, butter beans, cherry tomatoes, small chunks of potatoes, thighs and basil all tossed in light spray oil and baked in the oven for 45 mins until crispy.....its really tasty. I had griddled sliced courgettes too ;-)

Spent most of the evening editing the fashion show photos, pretty happy with them so far.

Happy weekend all.
