He’s officially Irish!

Son in law was happy to receive his Irish passport in the post today. Now he and the boys can stay in the EU. (Daughter can’t unless Scotland gets independence and is accepted back into the EU when she’d be entitled through her parents)

We took the boys to the shops to find a bird feeder as Thomas aged 7 is obsessed with spotting and identifying birds. James’s interest only went as far as chasing the pigeons along the pavement.

My foot was excruciating so I’m resting it.

#3 daughter and children arrived and got into the happy Birthday mode singing and washing hands. Daughter says if schools close she’ll volunteer to look after children of medics so they can go to work.

Then we had a lovely drive up to Edinburgh where we are being handsomely entertained by Jo and Alph.
