Gifts....!!

My friend and neighbor has been in Spain for the last two weeks...she brought me the salt and Truffle Oil...
But I didn’t have any contact with her as anyone traveling from Italy and Spain, since this morning have been asked to restrict their movements...!
So she left my goodies in a plastic bag outside my door...I got my gloves and washed the containers well before I opened them..I presume that was the ‘right’ thing to do..!
Thankfully she’s well with no symptoms but has to be mindful for the next two weeks...
I sprayed the oil on my pasta dinner and it was really lovely...
The Fruitbread I made this evening to keep myself busy...and I think it’s the nicest one I’ve made yet...
I used the raw cane sugar and cocoa sugar...(less than the recipe suggests) and it’s given it a lovely malty toffee taste..!

And I’m not even going to mention that it’s Friday the 13th..
We’ve had enough bad news gloom and doom to do us for awhile...!!!
