Grocery shopping

Town was hopping today, lots of people stocking up. Toilet paper seemed to be what everyone was after! We didn't go for breakfast, just to the recycling centre and grocery store, and didn't hug people like we usually do. Everyone seems to be taking the advice to maintain distance from others and lots of people are using hand sanitizer. A good idea to be sensible. There has been a confirmed case of the virus on Vancouver Island, exact location unknown, and Sophie Grégoire Trudeau,  the Prime Minister's wife, has tested positive. She's quarantined and he and the children are self-isolating. No news about any suspected cases on this island. Canada's borders aren't closed yet, but we're being advised not to travel out of the country. Such worrisome times.
