The Dirty Bits.
It was a bit cold and murky at the start of today's cycle club run, we weren't sure what the state of our preferred lanes and tracks was likely to be so we went several miles to the nearest coffee stop to consider the situation. Having reached no conclusion, we continued to lunch via a few interesting paths. The afternoon was punctuated by the run leader puncturing, it has to be said that it was his own fault for having chosen lanes where the hedges had been recently butchered. I did try blipping the four souls as they attempted to solve the problems but exposing for the hi-vis jackets (how some people hate them) proved to be a problem, I opted for this rather mucky derailleur instead. It was only a few miles from there to our second coffee stop of the day (how degenerate can you get?), this time at a farm shop; to add to the pleasure I (and several others) were able to buy some real sausages for tea.
For such a short ride, barely worth swinging a leg over the saddle, it was a tiring day but the company was good so it was very pleasant.
