Chasing Away the Blues

Feeding cats and making coffee are the first two things I do each morning. This morning while scooping coffee grounds I heard quite a ruckus going on just outside the front door. There were four blue jays perched in the lilac trees expressing their displeasure with the empty dish. No peanuts?!? Hoping not to scare the neighbors, I ran quickly outside to fill the dish, and capture this photo. As you can imagine the three cats were quite displeased with my priorities this morning. And, yes, Maine has its first presumptive positive coronavirus case today. Stay well, All!
