Cheers!

Went to see Isaac today! I’ve had my hair chopped off again, shoulder length this time. Needed a change and I hope I’m not going to regret it.

In the afternoon, an Indian “aunty” in our neighbourhood had invited me and a bunch of other ladies for a “holi” gathering. It was lovely to be with them all, the conversation flitted between English and Hindi (which I do undersrand but respond in Urdu ... they are so similar), and lots of yummy vegetarian nibbles. I do treasure these times as it does remind me who I am and takes me back to my roots. I know nothing about holi, but was glad to be invited, it was indoors due to the fact that all gatherings are still cancelled.

Dinner included nice chilled wine, Ben was with us.
