getting out

I can't drive for a week or two so Lesley drove us up to Carsington Water Visitor Centre for lunch today. Its nice to get out for a walk and fresh air again but the weather was so drab and wet, every footpath has puddles and the grass is just soddened. I enjoyed it though and we saw the weed courtship dance from a pair of grebes reassuring that Spring is definitely around the corner.
Lunch for me was bacon and sausage melt wrapped in a Derbyshire oatcake with egg on top, gorgeous.
