Rodents rule

Up to the chin

... if you're a Thames lion. The river is up high, covering the walkway in front of Cleopatra's Needle (see extra).

It was a beautiful morning and not so lovely on the way home – a perfect evening for fish and chips.

We now have a coronavirus WhatsApp group for the editors at work, just in case. My manager has chosen the virus as the icon – very non-fiction correct. The Italian illustrator I'm working with says that it's not scary being in a locked-down region (he's in a red region) just difficult. There are queues outside the supermarket because only a few people can go in at a time due to the 1-metre-apart rule. He sent us a beautiful piece of artwork for the book I'm working on, which was a lovely way to end the day. Nothing like a new illustration for a book.
