Sutton Bank
We are just returned from orienteering at Heater Rigg, just north of Helmsley. It was, unsurprisingly, a soggy, boggy, muddy little wood but we enjoyed our courses and it was good to be out in the fresh air having some exercise. On the way home we planned to stop for a cuppa in Helmsley but the carpark was full so we kept on going to the National Park Centre perched on the top of Sutton Bank and had cuppas and cake in the cafe there. Whilst Tony explored the shop and centre, I walked out to the top of the bank for a blip. Unfortunately, the sun was in exactly the wrong place and the landscape was bleached out so I've had to do a bit of HDR faffing with this one.
Happy International Women's Day!!
