Taxes! And Yet, a Nice Time

Spent a nice, early spring day up the gorge visiting sis-in-law Joy who was having tax prep problems. (Who hasn't: I can't get TurboTax to accept a K-1 partnership figure and will be calling them yet again tomorrow, grrr. Probably my fault, but I don't understand the questions.) We spent time trying to make sense of numbers and forms, then took a break to talk about the Pine Barrens of New Jersey (I'd love to see them, too) and the photos her New Jersey daughter (Tanja) sends her. Joy lives where there is no wifi available so she is pretty low tech (paper photos, imagine!). But she keeps a journal of the writing she does each day to Kent, her husband who died almost a year ago, and adds photos, too.
