Ears aglow

It was busy through the kitchen window today – coal tits, robins, jays, starlings, pigeons... lots for Juno and I to look at during tea breaks.

My neighbour rang and we had a chat about biscuits, as you do. That wasn't the reason why she rang, although I do consider myself a biscuit expert. She sent me off on a treasure hunt and I found what she needed. Neighbour to the rescue!

I made a nice casserole thing for Fred's return (due to the guilt of not eating as much of the vegetables in the fridge than I should have). Now I know how easy it is to make cheesy dumplings, I'm tempted to make them for every meal! Nom.
