Two Hedgehogs!

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellows,

As I mentioned yesterday, a SECOND hedgehog has appeared on the scene! Here we have photographic evidence, as supplied by Caro. 

She is so cute. She lays on the floor and awaits the arrival of her spiky friends with her phone in hand, ready to take a picture. She has been tracking their movements and told me that they typically arrive at 9.25pm.

As if hedgehogs keep little timepieces on them, or something.

And anyway, it was 9.28pm when they showed up. So clearly their watches were running late. 

Incidentally, you may wonder what that big clam shell shaped thing in the background is. It is a big clam shell.

What happened was this. Caro had a big decorative silver bowl shaped like a piece of coral. I think she got it from IKEA. Certainly it has been with us since the Edinburgh flat. Anyway, it got broken in the move so she ordered a clam shell bowl to replace it.

Only - she got the proportions slightly wrong. When it arrived it was effing HUGE. And so the only place it does not look ridiculous, is in the garden. 

Oh, all right, it looks a bit ridiculous there too. But, at least it is not dominating the living room or the khazi. 

It is lit up because we have fairy lights in the garden. But that is purely coincidental. Caro wasn't intending for the big clam shell to be so cheerily lit. 

Yet it is, and it was, and it is in my picture of two hedgehogs.
