York - day 2

I met Little Miss in her house and we went for a very leisurely brunch in one of her favourite coffee shops before she went to a lecture.
We had the most delicious scrambled eggs & smashed avocado on sourdough toast with a decaf latte and it definitely set us up for the day :-)

Whilst she was @ Uni I had a look around some more shops & walked around some more of the beautiful city - the weather was absolutely glorious again and I loved all the crocuses growing in the Minster’s grounds (see extra)

Obviously no visit to York would be complete with an afternoon tea in Bettys tearooms where we enjoyed a fruit tartlet & a coffee eclair :)

Little Miss walked me back to the station after a great girlie visit - she’ll be back home next weekend to catch up with Mr W too then :-)
