We chose our away day yesterday as the weather seemed to be better then and it was a good decision as it has been rather wet and windy today.  

And a good day for me to do some cooking;  made some mushroom soup and have a casserole in the slow cooker just now, which will really be for tomorrow but making it today.  

Have just finished an ironing, so all up to date now and intend to sit down with the Saturday newspaper and have a coffee and a read.

I don't know the name of the plant I have blipped, the HG brought it home a few years ago, but I like the dark green and the veining on the leaves.
