Common shrew

After a morning doing housework, making bread and various odd jobs Mr rat and I went down to the ponds to do some litter-picking and clearing the pond outflow. The former didn't yield too much rubbish but the latter reduced the water level by about 4cm in half an hour - that's a lot of water!
On our way round we noticed this shrew and it was so busy with its earthworm (see extra) it ignored us and I was able to get some not-bad pics.
Back in I got on with some crafts and made a pudding I haven't made for some years.
