Floreat Edinburgh
I couldn’t resist the update on the rejuvenation or not of east Princes Street Gardens. Hopefully they will be up to standard for the Edinburgh Festival in the summer. Slow going though, it would be seem.
I was in town this morning to celebrate the 40th birthday of a young nursing friend with breakfast at the Ivy. It is uplifting to spend time with someone who is not of an age to be in what could be called “God’s Waiting Room”.
My Avocado Benedict has negated anything much to eat for the rest of the day!
I have developed another hobby to add to knitting beanies, practising crochet and hatching knitted chickens. This new hobby is hand washing while singing “Happy Birthday “ twice, (which lasts the requisite 20seconds). This device to delay the mass infection of us by CVD-19 is an attempt to stop the huge uptake of hospital beds all at once. I hope it works.
