Its own spotlight

Finally a springlike day, doesnt it make you feel better :-D

Lost 1lb at SW last night......should have been more, but for that devil on my shoulder the night before!! lol

Today a trip to Liverpool Eye Hospital with youngest, his long awaited new glasses finally ready! Our anticipation was short lived.... although the central vision was good, the frame size in relation to lens thickness and the position too close to his eyes, all wrong!! One bump or stumble would result in cut eyelids for sure. Needless to say he wasnt happy with them and not willing to pay £000s of pounds for a product that isnt right! They are sending them back to see if the manufacturer can do anything to chamfer the lenses but not overly hopeful. Back to his own opticians it is!!

As we were going back to the car, son was saying to me that its amazing how many people don't look where they are going and that its only a matter of time before someone falls over his cane....... right on cue a young woman playing with her phone, earplugs in, not watching where she was going, tripped right over his cane, then had the audacity to spin around ready to "have a go" until she opened her eyes and realised!! It was quite funny really ;-)

Afterwards we went to Subway for lunch...one of their lovely salad bowls each, then back to drop son off at the barbers near home, (got to look smart for his Presentation Night with work tomorrow) once he's in familiar territory he's able to walk home, so from there I headed home.

Stopped off in town to get my nails sorted, massacred them, broke several lifting a case of fairy liquid, then subsequent picking left them looking a disgrace and as we are out out for a meal tonight pre quizzing, thought I'd best get them fixed ;-)

Back home, found hub sitting in the summerhouse ........so grabbed my camera whilst the sun was out and snapped a couple of flowers, liked this little daffy in the sunlight best.

Thinking of two friends today, who are going through a tough time, hopefully light at the end of the tunnel soon x
