What a difference a year can make

Sunshine and showers today, but more sunshine so we had a lovely walk along the canal. A usually locked gate had been damaged presumably by the horrendous weather we’ve had but it gave me access to these arches which are under the canal tow path. I’m guessing they are related to the mill that used to be there!  Couple of extras are a little prettier than said arches!

It is a year today since Mr H had surgery for prostate cancer. So far all is well thanks to the skill of the surgeon, and early detection.
