Firstly, thank you all for putting yesterday's grand day out into the blip top 10, very kind. Did you spot our footprints?

Despite yesterday's snow and the look of the high fells spring seems to be arriving early. Birds are courting, flowers are appearing and for a while today it seemed positively war. A dry spring and a summer of drought would be quite welcome!

Stupidly expensive Ford indestructible* key not ordered, apparently they should do diagnostics before replacing.
New phone ordered**
Provisionally booked for guiding work in 2021 after long phone interview.

**my phone became eligible for renewal exactly a week ago today. Since then the screen has started to flicker and darken in the cold and the sound has become random. Obviously it's definitely not designed obsolescence....
