One man & his dog
A lazy start after the prettier half of Team IttH was unwell overnight - but looking out the window it looked cold and glorious. A quick plan and off we set.
After a delay to help a chap having some difficulties in Mardale we headed up onto the wonderful Riggindale Ridge - making fresh tracks all the way, new snow down to about 400m
Missy took every opportunity to master her 'epic' poses - I liked the one in extra's the most.
Those who know the route will observe that both of the blue sky views are behind us - by the time we reached the final exit slopes onto High Street the sky had darkened, the wind gusts were starting to make movement precarious and the snow flurries stung viciously.
We turned around and followed our footsteps back down the ridge. By the time we reached the van it was torrential rain - but it mattered not one jot as our souls had been well & truly fed.
