Mum and I went to WWT London in the early afternoon; there were lots of sunny moments, and most of the birds were being pretty animated... Im couldn't come, so I focussed on some of her favourites (esp. the white-headed ducks), but it was this mandarin drake preening in a surprisingly accessible place that I found most beguiling today (other than the emperors, of course).
