My mother and I visited ZSL London Zoo in the afternoon; the weather was gloomy and grey, but we had a nice time, particularly enjoying the tropical birds in the Blackburn Pavilion, and the various creatures in Rainforest Life.
This ragged pygmy goose was my favourite (with the adorably young tamandua being my favourite mammal of the day), and my mother's favourite was the sloth.
