Happy Birthday John!

We have spent this afternoon with the Gibbs family in Melbourn enjoying a very nice roast dinner at The Green Man pub up the road (in Shepreth according to the address). A very popular pub, but we had a reservation for 14 of us, so got our table. Then had an excellent roast dinner and pudding. It was John's birthday on Thursday so a slightly belated celebration but nice that nearly all of the family were able to make it. Just missing Mollie and Dylan, but they were in our thoughts. Jon managed to finish off Sophie's pork, Henry's chicken and Laura's lamb. So nothing was wasted and we highly recommended them if you want value for money.

Will be heading home soon, as I have a bit of ironing to do. Our cooker finally packed up this morning, so we will need to plan our meals this week around microwave and camping gas hob. Then plans to obtain a second hand electric cooker to tide us over are being made. Hopefully within the next couple of weeks.
