Protection - MMC20 #28

We have been hit by the Corona Virus.  Numbers are in the 30's now.  All the confirmed cases are travellers returning from Iran and they have all been identified at the airport and immediately quarantined.  Fortunately no other cases reported anywhere else yet.

Bahrain has registered a total of 33 confirmed cases of the virus,
Clamp on travel to Saudi Arabia
Pilgrimages to Saudi suspended.  Decision applies to all Umrah trips to Mecca and the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina.

Five more countries have reported their first case, all with travel history connected to Italy. They were Nigeria, Estonia, Denmark, Netherlands and Lithuania

Mexico also detected its first cases

The death toll in Italy, Europe’s worst-hit country, rose to 17 and those testing positive increased by more than 200 to 655.

Germany has nearly 60 cases, France about 38 and Spain 23
